A good portion of the record had already been done by the time I arrived. They wanted to give me the producer credit.“It took a different shape after I got involved,” Berlin continued. “I amplified the Rudy songs a little bit. It was just focusing things. They’re capable of so much stuff, when they gave me the cd of what they had done I thought there was something wrong with my computer because it sounded like it was shuffle playing four different bands. They all turned out to be TapWater. It’s part of their charm and nothing to hide, I really just helped them focus on what they were.

TapWater will bring their singular brand of whatever it is to the Mission Theater on Friday, June 10, $8 adv, $10 dos, Tickets . Belin, the Motet’s Jan Ingber (who did the vocal production on the album) and the Everyone Orchestra’s conductor, Matt Butler will join them.
