I have been taking pictures of my stock birds to fill in my time lately and my oldest son Mark who is in a camera club has been given me training and to be honest I have enjoyed the experience. I’m not an Anthony Bolton however I’m very pleased with my efforts and will add a couple of photographs to illustrate my work. In fact I will add photographs of the parents of Kevin’s 1st club winner in the Leicester open race flown last week end the Cullen Cock bred by Jim Cullen of Uddingston and Mary named after Mark Doran’s wife as Mark bred the chequer hen when we swapped birds. Planning Permission

I received a phone call from Dino Donnini from Syndicate Lofts from Skipton North Yorkshire informing me that he has had some problems with alterations he has done to his lofts. He was flabbergasted to find out that he (and many of us) now requires planning permission for a loft in the garden. Dino abided by the requests from the council and was amazed when he was informed that these plans must now be done by a professional architect and it cost him £150 for this service. He is still in the dialog process of his case with officials and if it does not come to a satisfactory conclusion then Dino is prepared to take it to the High Court. These Donnini pigeons have been cultivated over the past 200 years with great success and Dino is not prepared to give his beloved pigeons up without a fight.
